We believe that children are born eager and ready to learn!
Twinkling Stars Preschool is committed to providing a program that focuses on the development of young children by creating enriching learning experiences through exploration, discovery and hands-on activities.
TSP believes children are born eager and ready to learn! As educators, it is our responsibility to foster that learning by providing children with the opportunities that will allow them to create their own meanings to the world around them. We understand that it is not only important for children to develop the basic skills that will be the foundation for future learning, but they receive care from teachers who have a genuine love for children. TSP strives to provide exceptional care in a safe and nurturing environment, create an enriching learning experience for each child and seek out the most compassionate and qualified staff to care for your child.
At Twinkling Stars Preschool the goals for children in our program are for them to:

Prior to opening TSP, I was a teacher’s assistant in the Tuition-Based Preschool and Students with Special Needs Programs at Audubon Elementary School, as well as a substitute teacher for CPS. Before that, I was a lead preschool/kindergarten teacher at a private academy in downtown Chicago. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University and hold a current Illinois Teaching Certificate. Being the oldest of 5 children, my love for working with children started at a very young age. From helping my mom with my siblings, to babysitting for children in my neighborhood to ultimately my career as teacher, my passion has always been and will forever be caring for and teaching little ones.
My husband and I have 2 sons, a daughter on the way and 2 dogs (another love of mine). I love my job, the teachers with whom I work and all the families who have let me be a part of their lives! Thank you for making my dreams come true!
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

My passion for working with children started at a young age by having three younger siblings and helping my mom with her home daycare. I continued to work with children through babysitting, tutoring and coaching until entering college, where teaching ultimately became my career choice. It has been a great experience teaching at Twinkling Stars and I am excited for the future as our program grows!
I have since earned a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University and hold an Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL). My time at Twinkling Stars has been very special to me and I am excited to see what the upcoming year brings!
